DMX isn’t making it any easier on himself. On Wednesday, X was arraigned on two counts of marijuana possession and one for drug paraphernalia, stemming from a raid of his property, where officials seized 12 malnourished dogs on the rapper’s land. X was scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 but he showed up an hour late, around 9:30, where he later entered a plea of not guilty to the charges. Apparently, crack only let's you operate on CPT (Colored People Time for the abbreviation illiterate).
Although he was charged with a misdemeanor count for animal cruelty, he was not arraigned on that charge today. DMX is due back in court on July 2. If someone takes away his peace pipe, maybe he'll show up to court on time. That might be asking too much though.
