Connor Cruise, son of Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise, is making his feature film debut in Will Smith's production of Seven Pounds, according to new reports.
An insider says Connor had to audition for the part and that Tom is "so proud" of his son for "doing this on his own."
Puh-leeze.

We're willing to give the kid a chance. Family connections can unleash the 'good' (i.e. Sofia Coppola) or, gasp - the 'bad' (i.e. Rumer Willis).
P.S. A normal Hollywood parent would want their kids to stay as far away as possible from acting, dontcha think?????
Tom probably wants Connor to recruit all of tween Hollywood to Scientology.
