Danielle Panabaker, Aaron Yoo, Travis van Winkle (Asylum) and Jonathan Sadowski ("Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles") are the latest additions to Platinum Dunes' 2009 slaughter fest Friday the 13th.
According to THR, "Panabaker is playing the adventurous, athletic girlfriend of van Winkle, who plays a rich alpha male type that gathers everyone together. Yoo's character, named Chumbler, is a guy who's a little quirky and has a tendency to wear his attraction to pretty girls on his sleeve. Sadowski plays a techie who knows the horrific history of Camp Crystal Lake."
Panabaker's dealt with a psycho of another kind last year in Mr. Brooks, for Yoo, it was David Morse in the teen hit thriller Disturbia. Jared Padalecki (Supernatural, House of Wax) also stars.
I'm just hoping the Friday re-invention get's the proper makeover it deserves. Introduce the new generation to the films I grew up with. If it get's the Halloween makeover, I'm so there to see Friday when it comes out.
