DIDDY ADDRESSES RACISM IN THE FASHION INDUSTRY

Last night, I happened to catch Diddy's documentary on the 10th Anniversary of his Sean John clothing line. As many of you know, I have always has a bit of a disgust for Diddy, simply because whenever he's involved in music, television, or anything that involves a camera in the room, Diddy and his ego suck the shine from everyone else. I have to give it up to him on the fashion tip. This is the one medium where I feel he is the most creative and strongest. After watching it, it even inspired me to want to become a designer. but first things first. The video you are about to see is Diddy going off on one of the casting directors because he was showing him white models instead of the all black models he was looking for. I have a lot of respect for him now, because he addressed something that has been going on in fashion for quite a while. Way too many white models and not enough black models are walking the runways and it has to stop. We need more color representing fashion. Hopefully, this will inspire future fashion designers to get out there and change the face of fashion.
